The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that LA 119 will be closed 2.9 miles north of its intersection with LA 493 on Monday, July 29, 2024

Shreveport, LA – According to the LaDOTD officials, the closure, expected to last approximately two days, is necessary for the installation of a new cross drain.

Permit/Detour Information:

Northbound Traffic:

• • Travel north on LA 493 to LA 484
  • Proceed east on LA 484 to LA 494
  • Continue east on LA 494 to LA 119
  • Head south on LA 119

Southbound Traffic:

• • • Travel west on LA 494 to LA 484
    • Proceed west on LA 484 to LA 493
    • Continue south on LA 493 to LA 119
    • Head north on LA 119
