Toomey Rest Area on I-10 eastbound closing January 20 due to winter weather

Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that the Toomey Rest Area on Interstate 10 Eastbound at Mile Marker 1 will close at 4 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, due to the forecasted winter weather event.

DOTD will provide an update when the rest area reopens.
