New Orleans, LA – New Orleans Police Department officials said the fatal shooting occurred right after 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
It happened in the 7800 block of Sail Street.
New Orleans Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they reportedly found one adult male victim.
Police said the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will identify the victim and official cause of death upon completion of autopsy and notification of family, police officials said.
