Authorities investigating after man found fatally shot on Gentry Road

Jefferson Parish, LA – According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred right before 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

It happened on Gentry Road.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting call.

The responding deputies reportedly found the victim outside a residence.

The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
