Shreveport, LA – The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a 62-year-old woman following an incident at a Chase Bank on Freestate Boulevard. On September 3, deputies responded to a report that Stephanie W. Head allegedly threatened bank employees with a handgun.

According to authorities, Head entered the bank in an agitated state after discovering a handwritten note from a teller on her husband’s bank envelope that read, “Have an Amazing Day!”

She reportedly threatened to “shoot up” the bank and attacked an employee who attempted to photograph her license plate. She also pointed a handgun at employees as she left the parking lot.

On the morning of September 11, deputies executed an arrest warrant and a search warrant at Head’s residence on the 300 block of Brookbriar Drive.

During the operation, the firearm used in the incident was recovered. Head was arrested and transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where she was booked on three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of disturbing the peace. The warrants were signed by Judge Victory, and her bond was set at $51,000.
