Shreveport, LA – The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is offering children ages 7 to 9 a unique opportunity to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) in law enforcement.

The Intro to S.T.E.A.M. in Law Enforcement Day Camp will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sheriff’s Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Ave, Shreveport, LA 71118.

Participants will engage in interactive activities and demonstrations, including fingerprinting, cybercrime investigations, drone technology, media and interview techniques, and crime scene reconstruction.

This one-day camp is designed to inspire young minds and provide insight into how S.T.E.A.M. is applied in law enforcement.

Space is limited to 25 participants, and early registration is encouraged to secure a spot. For more information or to register, contact Deputy Vernita Williams at 318-698-0869 or email [email protected].
