Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 8 p.m. Saturday.
It happened on 2nd St.
Shreveport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a residential structure fire.
The responding crews saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of the residence.
They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
Unfortunately, the home sustained heavy damage.
No one was injured in this incident, officials said.
No other information is available at the moment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, SFD officials said.
