Fire damages house at the intersection of Tate Street and Florence Street

Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Fire Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 5 a.m. early Friday morning.

It happened at the intersection of Tate Street and Florence Street.

Shreveport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a house fire.

The responding crews saw flames and smoke coming from the right side of the home.

They were able to extinguish the blaze in just 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported, SFD officials said.

The cause of fire remains under investigation.
