Man fatally shot on Bernstein Avenue identified, police say

Shreveport, LA – Shreveport Police Department officials said the fatal shooting occurred around 12:07 a.m. early Sunday morning.

It happened on Bernstein Avenue.

Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim.

Police said the 32-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

He was later identified as Darnell Jackson.

This incident remains under investigation.
