New Orleans, LA – According to the New Orleans Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday.
It happened in the 3400 block of Johnny Jackson Jr Boulevard.
New Orleans Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult female victim.
Police said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to her body and was transported to a local hospital via private conveyance.
