Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, the shooting occurred around 4:15 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators say the victim left the party after he heard gunshots.
He then got into his vehicle and realized he had been shot in the upper back.
He then tried to drive himself to a hospital.
Unfortunately, he crashed his car into a wall at the intersection of I-20 and Greenwood Road.
The responding officers found the victim.
They say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
