New Orleans, LA – According to the NOPD officials, the 41-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Friday.
His name is Jason Porche and he is now charged with second-degree murder.
New Orleans Police Department officials said the suspect was arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing on April 25, 2022.
This incident occurred in the 2100 block of Julia Street.
NOPD officers responded to a report of a stabbing.
The responding officers reportedly found one male victim.
Police said the victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives developed and positively identified Porche as the perpetrator in this incident.
Porche was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
