Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, the 19-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody on Wednesday.
His name is Emmanuel Black and he is now charged with 2nd-degree murder.
Police officials said the fatal shooting occurred on April 16, 2022.
The responding officers found the victim, later identified as Zynashaia Fielding, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside in her vehicle at Corbitt and Mansfield Road.
She was pronounced deceased on scene by Shreveport Fire Department.
Black was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
