Ouachita Parish, LA – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.
It happened on LA Hwy 143.
Louisiana State Police troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers found one adult male victim.
Police said the 38-year-old victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as Ronald Williams Jr.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the victim was walking in the roadway and the driver of the truck was unable to avoid hitting him.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
