Man dies after being shot inside car on Leonidas Drive, BRPD investigating

Baton Rouge, LA – According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, his name is Cedric Clay and he was shot to death.

The shooting occurred right after 1 p.m. Saturday.

It happened on Leonidas Drive near Thomas Road.

Baton Rouge Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found the 41-year-old victim.

Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspects have been arrested yet.

This incident remains under investigation.
