Shreveport, LA – Right after 3 a.m. early Tuesday morning, Shreveport Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire.
This incident occurred at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church located near the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Baxter Street.
The responding crews reportedly found the building fully engulfed in flames.
They needed 40 minutes to bring the fire under control.
The structure is considered a total loss, officials said.
No one was injured in this incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
