Shreveport police investigating early Monday morning shooting that left one person injured

Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, the shooting occurred around 3:30 a.m. early Monday morning.

It happened in the 900 block of Madison Avenue. 

Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found a 18-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the victim suffered not life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The 18-year-old victim authorities told that the gunmen were on foot.
