Shreveport police investigating Sunday evening shooting, one person injured

Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, the shooting occurred around 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

It happened at 1644 Lucky Street.

Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim.

Police said the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The responding officers discovered that two cousins were arguing, when the suspect (who knows both of the cousins) pulled out a gun and shot one of the cousins.

The suspect then fled the scene.

This incident remains under investigation.
